WHY IS AIGA ATLANTA SUPPORTIING THIS BENEFIT AUCTION?
In June of this year, Scott Hamilton, a longtime employee of see see eye, a graphic design and communications firm in Atlanta, suffered a stroke as a result of a collapsed artery. At only 42 years old and in otherwise good shape it was the last thing anyone expected. Things most of us take for granted were gone in an instant: the ability to verbalize thoughts, walk, read, write, finer control of his hands. These are the ?tools? with which Scott worked every day. Though he?s made excellent progress in his physical therapy, this is going to be a long road.

While, as an account manager, Scott has not been an active AIGA member himself, others from see see eye have a long history of involvement in and dedicated service to AIGA Atlanta. Scott is very important to them, therefore he is important to us. So let's leverage the power of community to do everything we can to help Scott.

WHO IS SCOTT HAMILTON? Scott ?Not-the-Ice-Skater? Hamilton is husband to Laurie and father of Alexis and Jarrod. He?s a die-hard Bulldog fan, even though he didn?t graduate from The University of Georgia. He attended the school, and claims to have been a Social and Leisure Activities major. His blood runs red and black. Scott is also an Account Supervisor with see see eye, where he?s worked since 1999.

NEENAH PUNC?T POSTERS
Neenah Paper, working with And Partners, commissioned some of New York City?s most successful graphic designers to create their interpretations of one of 24 punctuation marks. Each of these 26"x40" limited-edition serigraphs is numbered and signed by the designer who created it.

Scott has served as Neenah Paper's Account Supervisor, so Neenah has graciously donated a set from this collection of posters. All of the proceeds from its sale will go to the Hamiltons. We hope that you will see a poster you like, bid generously and take home a piece that will grace your space for years to come.
